Urgent Dog Care Needs
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue (BAPBR.org) is in immediate need of an infusion of funding—a total of $1,695. In order to save the lives of several puppies and a few adult dogs who were in urgent need of rescue where they faced possible euthanasia, we now have a larger than normal amount of medical expenses and general dog needs.
Every little bit helps – no matter how small the donation—together, we can achieve it!
We are a 501c3 non-profit rescue organization that works with animal shelters to take pit bull type dogs out of their kennels and place them into foster homes in the area, so these dogs can await their forever homes in a non-stressful, family environment. As a result, the shelters are able to take in more homeless dogs with the kennel space we help to free up.
We need your financial support to help pay for the following current expenses for foster dogs in our program (a total of $1,695):
Spays and neuter procedures for 8 Puppies at $100 each for surgery and pain medicine for:
Ryan
Ryder
Posey
Tulip
Wally
Ellie
Maddie
Tyke
TOTAL: $800
Abigail: Spay procedure at $100 for surgery and pain medicine, vaccines and microchip
TOTAL: $100
Moose: Needs doggie daycare while on his Pit Stop in foster care at $25/day, once per week for 2 months
TOTAL: $200
Caprice: Boarding fee until a foster home is found at $15/day, for 30 days
TOTAL: $450
Gidget: Basic Manners training class package at Happy-Go-Lucky
TOTAL: $145
Our goal is to raise the funds to cover these expenses by Friday, February 3rd, so that we can begin scheduling vet appointments and taking care of everyone’s physical and mental needs.
We can’t do it without YOU and other like-minded, compassionate people who believe in our mission to save lives and give dogs a second chance (or a first) at a good life. Please also help us spread the word of our fundraising goal to other wonderful people you know!
To see more photos and learn more about these BAPBR dogs (note that a few of the pups are too young for adoption and are not yet posted), please view our page here and click on the dog/s you’d like to learn more about – they are all in need of forever homes:
